After learning that most mass produced, big box store candles are made from a petroleum byproduct (paraffin) - we knew we wanted better for our family. That is why 'Health' is one of the top three motivators for our company.

We use a 100% natural soy wax that is blended with all natural wax botanicals. Some companies may brand their candles as a 'soy wax blend' which is usually a small amount of soy mixed in with mainly paraffin. This saves costs while reaping the benefits of marketing their candles as "soy". We feel strongly that the added cost of pure natural soy is worth knowing there is no paraffin in our candles.

Our fragrances are sourced from one supplier which is the only one that has developed, tested and produces a truly healthy fragrance line that surpasses industry standards set by IFRA (International Fragrance Association) Most other fragrance suppliers will sell phthalate free oils but may have other toxins that are not excluded.

Knowing that our supplier has taken extra steps to provide an industry leading line of truly healthy scents without the harmful chemicals listed above is what solidified our choice to use them. We will continue to do so as long as they maintain this high level of quality.

In addition to using 100% natural soy wax in our candles, the wicks we use are also primed with natural soy wax. We source our wicks from a supplier that produces a cotton wick with interwoven paper filaments and then primed with natural soy wax. We were cautious in choosing the best wicks and wanted to ensure that they were not primed with paraffin which is often done (even in conjunction with natural soy wax candles).
